My Block My Hood My City is excited to bring you our 5th annual Be A Part Of The Light initiative. Holidays are a time to inspire hope for the youth and bring communities together all up and down King Dr. Join us Saturday Dec. 3rd and Dec. 10th to decorate King Dr. enjoy hot treats, holiday music, live performances, and a tree lighting ceremony. With your help King Dr. will be as magnificent as the Mag Mile!

Kickoff & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, Dec. 3rd - 1pm to 5pm - 8350 S. King Dr. Chicago, IL 60619

Come out to help us decorate homes along King Dr. and the surrounding community for the holidays. There will be live performances, holiday music, hot cocoa and treats, all culminating in a tree lighting ceremony for our 30' holiday tree!

Today we'll be focused on hitting our goal of 500 homes decorated. Come out to help us decorate homes along King Dr. and the surrounding community for the holidays. There will be holiday music, and hot cocoa and treats!
